Counter-Strike 2 Champion
Background
I have thousands of hours dedicated to my favorite video game, Counter Strike 2. I recently won a tournament in Brooklyn, NY which qualified me for an all expenses paid tournament in Abu Dhabi from December 13th to 23rd 2025.
The Challenge:
Win in Abu Dhabi against the Russians.
My Role:
I am an in game leader, manager, and founder of my team “Interstellars” I have worked to secure jerseys, and practice time with the team. It’s been a mess.
Process
I was at the end of my rope one day for counter-strike. I was burnt out with nowhere to go. I said to myself “I think that I will quit counter-strike after this tournament.” After that, I won the tournament. The prize was “Win a free trip to Dubai”. So, what I didn’t realize is that the tournament organizers were not lying. On December 15th, 2025, I will embark to Abu Dhabi to play in an international combo counter-strike and laser tag tournament. I will be playing against various nations in essentially a start-up version of the Olympics.
